Culture and History

The former priory of L'Isle-Jourdain was elevated to the status of the Collégiale Saint-Martin in 1318.

The Musée européen d’Art Campanaire displays more than 1,000 sound objects from five continents, covering four millennia of history. Le Sentier du Bout de la Rivière is an easy, 8.3-kilometre circular route in L'Isle-Jourdain. It follows the Save and passes the lake, the banks of the Save and the Pigeonnier du Chiron; the walking time is two hours.
