The church of Castelnau has a restored Romanesque portal. Above it is a stained-glass window dating from 1926, depicting an angel supporting a dying soldier from the First World War. In 1630, the church became the parish church; it is dedicated to Saint Thomas Becket of Canterbury. As early as the 16th century, a manor chapel was built in the outer fortifications of Castelnau, next to an old watchtower.
