Fabas: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
At the Place de la Halle in Fabas, the façades and roofs of the church, the market halls and the Château have been designated as a protected site; this protection has been in place since 24 December 1943.
Culture
The Château de Poudelay probably originated as a fortified house dating from the 15th century. It retains a remarkable panoramic wallpaper by the Dufour manufactory entitled “Vues d’Italie”, dating from the 1820s. Its present appearance is shaped mainly by alterations made in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The village church of Fabas already existed in the early 14th century and was rebuilt in the 19th century, with the exception of the bell wall. Its portal has beautiful capitals.
