Capoulet-et-Junac: Holiday apartments and houses

The war memorial of Capoulet-et-Junac was inaugurated on 17 November 1935 and stands between Capoulet and Junac on the right-hand side of the D8 departmental road towards Vicdessos.

The sculpture “la Guerre ou Figures Hurlantes” has been listed as a protected object since 27 June 2007. It depicts three heads named “l’Epouvante héroïque”, “la Souffrance” and “la Mort”.

The Église de Junac houses three protected objects; six protected chandeliers are located inside it. The Église Saint-Julien houses ten protected objects.

The Musée Voivenel houses eight protected objects. It contains a bas-relief entitled “France-Paul Voivenel” as well as an original study for the war memorial in Toulouse.

Nature

The “Autour du château de Miglos” interpretation trail descends towards Capoulet along one section and occasionally offers views of the Vicdessos Valley. As a circular route, the trail is 2.3 kilometres long.
