Culture and history
La Rotonde is protected as a historic monument; it was listed on 19 December 1986. In the 20th century, La Rotonde served as a social centre for the workers of the BTT factory. La Rotonde's theatre has more than 800 seats and is a replica of the famous Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
The Temple was built in 1909 in the Finnish style and is generally open during the Journées du Patrimoine.
The Musée du patrimoine Thaonnais presents the local heritage through old postcards, paintings, documents, anecdotes and photographs, as well as temporary exhibitions. It also offers a historical tour of the town.
Nature and water
The Domaine des Lacs consists of small lakes and ponds that highlight the local flora and fauna. The site has a sandy beach for swimming and sunbathing. At the Domaine des Lacs, Wam Park offers a water ski lift, wakeboarding, water skiing and stand-up paddleboarding.
The banks of the Moselle along the canal are used for recreation and walking.

The Voie Bleue runs along the Charmes–Épinal section to Charmes as a landscaped path alongside the Canal des Vosges; Thaon-les-Vosges is mentioned along the route with La Rotonde.
