The Tourbière des Charmes stretches across Thiéfosse and Rupt-sur-Moselle and covers 68.01 hectares. This nature reserve contains one of the most significant peatland complexes in the Vosges massif, covering an area of 40 hectares.

Nature
The specialised bog flora of the Tourbière des Charmes includes marsh rosemary, round-leaved sundew, oblong-leaved sundew and Scheuchzer's cottongrass. The area is also home to 28 protected bird species, 23 of which breed there.
The nature reserve also provides a habitat for 15 dragonfly species that depend on the cold, acidic waters of bogs. In addition, there are 44 moss species, including 18 sphagnum species.
Activities
Thiéfosse is crossed by the Voie Verte des Hautes Vosges. This multi-use trail is 55 kilometres long and follows former railway lines through the valleys of the Moselle and Moselotte. The Voie Verte is open to everyone and offers free access for walking and cycling.
The Gorges de Crosery can be reached by bicycle, on foot or on inline skates via the Voie Verte des Hautes Vosges. The route to the gorges includes a 1.8-kilometre botanical trail from the car park at the church to a footbridge over the Moselotte. The bridge crosses the river and offers views of the Moselotte and the gorges. For safety reasons, access to the section of the Moselotte river and use of the footbridge at the Gorges de Crosery have been strictly prohibited since 12 April 2025 until further notice.
Les Écuries du Champ du Vent offer adapted Handi-Cheval sessions and welcome people with physical or psychological disabilities. They also offer riding lessons for beginners, further training and competition preparation, including show jumping and endurance. Rides and excursions range from one hour to several days.
Culture
At the Église Saint Antoine, Gabriel Loire's work comprises eight window openings with a total area of 42.24 m².
The Marché de Thiéfosse takes place all year round every Saturday morning from 08:30 to 12:00. The programme regularly includes concerts, exhibitions, meals and craft markets; there is also a stage and refreshments.

The Marché de Thiéfosse brings together producers from the Vosges who work with small-scale farms and artisanal production methods.
Following a presentation of the plants and a discussion about their uses, Cueillette et Gourmandises offers the preparation of recipes and a tasting of the creations followed by further discussion; reservations are required. A tasting of plant-based products is also available there.
