Culture

The Église Sainte-Libaire features construction phases dating from 1511 and 1564. It was classified as a monument historique by decree of 31 December 1986. Inside, there are sculptures and paintings, as well as an organ that is classified as a monument historique.

On the site of the former Capuchin monastery, Antoine Gérard, director of the faience manufactory from 1785, had the Château des Capucins, the orangery and the outbuildings built. The façades and roofs of the château, orangery and outbuildings, the underground vaulted hall, as well as the floors and enclosures of the courtyard and park on cadastral plots AD 162 to 164, have been protected as monuments historiques by decree of 29 June 2004.

The Tour d’angle (Anglemein) was part of the fortification system of Rambervillers built in the 13th century by the Bishop of Metz, Jacques de Lorraine, and was one of the 24 defensive towers of the fortified town. The Chapelle Saint Antoine is located in the Faubourg de la Chipotte and dates from 1544. It adjoins a hermitage built by a community of mendicant friars.

The Manufacture Vosgienne de Grandes Orgues was founded in 1750. Visits are available on certain Fridays by appointment only.
