The history of L'Eglise goes back to a chapel that was built onto a tower. The tower was preserved, served as a vestibule and was extended with a bell tower. L'Eglise's interior also contains dated evidence of the past: the high altar was consecrated in 1508 in honour of Saints Adolphe and Gengoult, and there is also a crucifix dated 1693. The old crosses of the Calvaires bear inscriptions and symbols associated with earlier religious customs.
The École rurale de la Vôge – l’encrier au champ is a museum and exhibition space. It provides insights into former agriculture, rural small-scale trades and the architecture of rural houses.
