History, Townscape and Culture
Place de la Fontaine is located on the site of Heillecourt’s former cemetery, which was established in 1843 and later relocated. The Heillecourt parish church was built in the 15th century on the site of the old cemetery. The old village of Heillecourt is a Lorraine street village with wide Usagen, restored Lorraine houses and a small paved centre around the church.
The ancient site of Cité d'Affrique is located in the immediate vicinity of Heillecourt. The Palais Ducal palace, the Musée de la Brasserie museum and the ruins of Abbaye de Clairlieu are also located in the surrounding area.

Les Jeux de l’Embanie takes place over a weekend as its third edition and offers the opportunity to discover new board games, take part in tournaments and attend a themed evening.
