Nature

The large geological depression near Crévéchamps drains the water from numerous small streams off the plateau. The bodies of water at Grand Rozot, created by the extraction of alluvial deposits, extend across Crévéchamps, Haussonville, Velle-sur-Moselle and Saint-Mard and serve as a resting and feeding area for overwintering waterfowl.

Activities

The hike “Walk around the Grand Rozot ponds” (circular route no. 3) has Crévéchamps Town Hall as its suggested starting point. The Grand Rozot ponds are currently mainly intended for fishing and are managed by the intercommunal syndicate of Grand Rozot (Saint-Mard, Saint-Rémimont and Crévéchamps).
