La Chassagne Beach lies on a large lake that forms behind the Lavaud dam below the source of the Charente. Its shores and beaches are suitable for walking and swimming; there is also a children's playground at the beach.

The Circuit des Serves is a 14.7-kilometre circular route starting from Videix, which can be completed on foot or by mountain bike. It begins at La Chassagne Beach.

The circular cycling route from Rochechouart to Videix is 38.4 kilometres long, challenging, and starts in Rochechouart. It follows the course of the Charente to Lake Videix.

Culture and Townscape

The Sainte Marie Madeleine Church dates from the 13th century, features characteristics of Limousin Romanesque architecture and frescoes, and is listed in the inventory of historic monuments.

The washhouse and public fountain in Videix are made of meteoritic stone, known as impactites, and attract walkers.

A church was built at the end of the 12th century on the Circuit des rives de la Charente; it has a portal in the Limousin style. The Circuit des rives de la Charente also lists a church rebuilt in 1458 as a sight to see.

Les Champs is considered a typical village built from breccia.
