Culture and history

Inside the Église Saint-Denis, one bay retains its original rib vault with a keystone decorated with a fleur-de-lis. The floor of the church contains gravestones and the tomb of an abbot. Opposite the church, a Gallo-Roman oval cippus is set into the garden wall of the former presbytery.

The Châsse dite de sainte Valérie dates from the first quarter of the 13th century and is classified as a protected object. It is located in the treasury of the Assomption-de-la-Très-Sainte-Vierge parish church in Flavignac.

Les sentiers de Meilhac starts in Meilhac, follows a circular route and is 19.4 kilometres long. The route is estimated to take 5 hours on foot and 1 hour 30 minutes by mountain bike. Les sentiers de Meilhac has been included in the Haute-Vienne département's PDIPR hiking and walking trails plan since September 2015.
