Culture and History
Its Romanesque church has three naves, while the Gothic cloister dates from the 13th century. The former abbey church, the cloister and the Holy Sepulchre are located on the GR10 route from Arles-sur-Tech to Banyuls-sur-Mer.
Les Toiles du Vieux Moulin is a museum of Catalan weaving that specialised in fabrics for espadrilles. The bell tower of the Église Saint-Sauveur was built against the town's fortification wall and served as a defensive tower.
Nature on the Tech
The Parcours de Pays du Tech can be reached via the RD115 towards the sports centre; a car park is located on the Tech below the sports centre. The parcours offers 900 m of fishable flowing water along the right bank.
Les Jardins du Tech are located by the river and offer various attractions for children and adults. These include several zip-line courses, obstacle courses and suspension bridges. The gorge of the Riu de Montferrer near Les Jardins du Tech leads to a waterfall and a natural pool.
Hiking
The Boucle de la Batllia is a 6.2773 km circular hike that starts and ends at the Centre Sud Canigó Sports et Pleine Nature in Arles-sur-Tech. It is included in the departmental hiking trails plan of the Pyrénées-Orientales.
