The Promenade du viaduc offers views of the Cévennes valley of the River d’Arre and passes the remarkable Eiffel-style metal bridge of Lavassac. The bridge spans 80 metres and weighs 418 tonnes of steel.
The Sentier des Rutènes is associated with a Roman road that connected Nîmes with Millau and Rodez.
