The history of Fontenailles includes the Church of Saint-Fiacre. It was restored in 1861.
Culture
The bell tower of the Church of Saint-Fiacre dates from the 13th century and is the only surviving original part of the church. The church also contained two 16th-century tombstones beneath which the mortal remains of the Lords of Meaux-Bois Boudran were buried.
Four historic washhouses have been preserved in Fontenailles: Le Bézard, L’Orme, Glatigny and Fontenailles. The Fontenailles washhouse was converted into a leisure space in 1986 and continues to serve as a local meeting place.

The park and hunting estate of the Château de Bois-Boudran in Fontenailles is designed as an informal garden with lawns, ornamental meadows, groups of trees and individual clusters of trees.

La Randonnée in Fontenailles is an equestrian tourism centre and a riding stable focused on ethological horse care. It offers horseback rides and picnic rides.
