Chessy: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Chessy's three-hectare municipal park is ideal for walking and relaxation. It includes a viewing terrace, a pétanque court and a children's playground. The Sculptures de la Dhuys park is located in Chessy on the banks of the Marne and features around forty impressive stone sculptures.

Culture

The Église Saint-Nicolas was built around 1400, restored in 1743, and renovated in 1997 and 1998. The Château de Chessy was built in the early years of the 16th century for Jean de Fourcy, Lord of Chessy and Pommeuse. The former Briard farm Ferme des Tournelles in the centre of Chessy was converted into a cultural venue. The Nina Simone orchestra hall at the Ferme des Tournelles can accommodate up to 68 people; the Ferme des Tournelles also has the Joséphine Baker auditorium with 200 seats.

The 17th-century dovecote, together with the preserved façade of the north wing of the Château de Chessy, is one of the significant features of Val d'Europe.

Landscape

The historic village of Chessy is situated on the crest of a slope and bordered by the Marne Valley to the north.

The Château de Champs-sur-Marne, a château, is located in the vicinity of Chessy. Disneyland Paris Parc, a park, is also nearby.
