Culture
The Sainte-Suzanne Church is a 19th-century church made of pink Vosges sandstone. It was built on the site of a 17th-century chapel, whose reconstruction began in 1737.
Fort Sénarmont is part of the fortified belt of Belfort. Including its escarp walls and their casemates, it was added to the supplementary inventory of historic monuments by decree dated 13 December 1995. The successive modernizations make the fort a museum of the development of French fortifications between 1885 and 1918. For safety reasons, it can only be visited accompanied by a member of the association.
The 19th-century Grotto Fountain in Bessoncourt is crowned by a cross bearing the inscription “1810”. It is a surviving remnant of the municipality’s former washhouse and is classified as a historic monument.
The organ of Sainte-Suzanne Church in Bessoncourt was restored in 2007 by Marc Garnier and Peter Meier, organ builders.
Those who choose Bessoncourt as their destination want to rent a holiday apartment.
