Peri: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
The Peri Heritage Trail is a 2.5 km circular route that takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. At several key points, information boards along the Sentier du Patrimoine de Peri convey the history and cultural heritage of the municipality.
Culture
The Church of San Lurenzi is a central landmark of Peri and can be recognised by its bell tower. The Chapelle de l’Annonciation, also known as the Chapelle du Rosaire, is richly decorated. The few ruins of Castidacciu on the Rocca Vechja belonged to a fief of the Salaschi family, which ruled over the Celavu in the Middle Ages. A walk in Peri leads to the ruins of the Chapel of Santa Barbara.
The Cunfraternita San Larenzu di I Peri is associated with songs sung at Easter, Christmas, for the saints and during processions.
Nature
Peri is one of the locations in Corsica known for via ferrata routes. Old agricultural terraces have been preserved in Peri, bearing witness to traditional forms of land management. The view over the Gravona Valley is part of the experience of visiting Peri.
