The “U Casteddu” cultural trail in Figari is 2.8 kilometres long and suitable for everyone.

The “U Casteddu” cultural trail includes rock shelters known as “Orii”, former quarries, as well as wells and washhouses connected with Figari’s rural heritage.
At the highest point of the “U Casteddu” trail stands the “Casteddu”, a natural fortification that has been used since prehistoric times and is linked to the legend of Orsu Alamanu, a tyrannical ruler of the Middle Ages.
The Chapelle San-Quilico de Montilati was founded in the 12th century and was probably a seigneurial foundation. It has a feature that is very rare in Corsica: the chapel is covered not by a wooden structure, but by a round-arched vault.
Coast and Water
Plage de Figari is considered a completely unspoilt beach and is considered a windsurfing spot.
EOLE offers the rental of windsurfing, kayaking, kitesurfing and wakeboarding equipment, as well as inflatable water rings.
Cuisine and Local Products
At its winery on the Route de l'aéroport de Figari, Domaine de la Murta offers tastings of its white, rosé and red wines with local products.
Domaine de la Murta grows traditional grape varieties typical of Corsica, including Sciaccarellu, Niellucciu, Carcaghjolu Neru and Vermentinu.
U Porcu Ranger offers a 2.5-hour immersion experience on a Corsican Nustrale pig farm, with animals grazing semi-freely in the maquis.
The visit to U Porcu Ranger ends with a Corsican spuntinu featuring AOP Finidori cured meats such as coppa, lonzu and sausages, terrines, Corsican farmhouse cheese and a glass of red wine.
