Culture and history

A preserved grand avenue leads from the village to a green courtyard in front of the moats of the Château des Granges. The rear part of the Château des Granges estate was transformed into a wooded area criss-crossed by winding paths; these paths are still visible today. The farm buildings belonging to the Château des Granges have been preserved; one wing was fitted out in the 19th century as a stable, tack room and carriage house. The Église de La Noue is a 16th-century building; its choir dates from the 12th century. The church contains a 17th-century tomb slab. A fresco depicting a pilgrim and a shell-shaped holy water font in the Église de La Noue suggest that the church once stood on the route to Santiago de Compostela.
