Culture and History
The Église Saint-Salomon et Saint-Grégoire was built from the late 11th century onwards and partially rebuilt several times. It was rebuilt and extended between 1596 and 1651.

The Musée des Transports de Pithiviers displays historic railway equipment, including several locomotives and carriages classified as historic monuments. The Tramway de Pithiviers à Toury railway line is also part of the history of transport: it began passenger services in July 1892 and was approximately 30 kilometres long.

Parc de Bellecour has a fitness trail and a large children's playground. There is also fitness equipment for adults and a picnic area. Parc de Bellecour includes a natural area on the banks of the Œuf.
The Jardin personnel d’André Eve in Pithiviers is part of the Route de la Rose du Loiret and has been awarded the “Jardin Remarquable” designation. The garden features rose collections as well as a wide variety of perennials, shrubs and rarer flowering plants.

The immediate vicinity of Pithiviers is home to the Château de l'Ardoise, a château; the Ancien prieuré Saint-Pierre, a historic site; the Église Saint-Salomon-et-Saint-Grégoire, a church; and the Collégiale Saint-Georges, also a church.
