A Roman road formerly ran from Orléans via Limoges to Périgueux through Olivet and Ardon. The Chemin de Villiers follows a former Gallo-Roman road between Paris and Limoges.
The Church of Saint-Pierre in Ardon was burned down in 1562. Its choir dates from 1845. The church also houses a polychrome wooden reliquary from the 16th century.
The Fontaine d’Ardon stands near the church on the municipal meadow. It is made of cut and rubble stone, has a small roof of regional tiles and features an edging for drawing water.
