Landscape

Culture and History
The Église Saint-Étienne has a Romanesque nave from the 12th century, which was rebuilt and extended in the 16th century. The church has been listed as a Monument historique since 10 August 1949.
The Château de Villesavin is partly classified as a Monument historique and partly listed as a Monument historique. It is believed to have been built around 1537 by Jean Breton, François I’s financial secretary.
The Pont d’Arian crosses the Beuvron. It is a bridge built by the Romans that is still standing.

“L’Histoire au fil des rues” is an open-air museum with a walking route for free visits, guided by numbered information signs. The rest area on the Château route connects the cemetery car park with the church and features a children’s play area as well as a picnic area.
