Culture and History
The ancient theatre of Neung-sur-Beuvron was a semicircular structure with a diameter of 100 metres and could accommodate around 5,000 spectators. It was an important meeting place for the local population, where cultural, religious and economic activities came together.
The Church of Saint-Denis has a façade with columns supporting a triangular pediment. Statues of the Virgin Mary and Saint Roch stand on either side of the choir. The outer west wall also features a black marble plaque bearing a funerary inscription for the Thuault family.
The Christmas Mass in Neung-sur-Beuvron includes a procession with a lamb. Each year, a different family takes turns preparing the lamb and making the shepherds' clothing. A display case in the entrance area of Neung-sur-Beuvron Town Hall presents numerous Gallo-Roman remains, which can be viewed during opening hours.

Townscape
The earthworks on the eastern side of the town centre of Neung-sur-Beuvron, known as Vallum or “Les Monts”, are still visible.
Nature
Étang de Beaumont is a sensitive natural area in Sologne protected by the Conservatoire d’espaces naturels Centre-Val de Loire and rich in birds all year round. It features an ornithological observation point for watching the birds of Sologne. The route there from Neung-sur-Beuvron is signposted to the “Ecoparc d'affaires” and then to Étang de Beaumont.
At Étang de Beaumont, visitors can explore freely throughout the year using the information boards; guided discovery tours are also available on request.
Activities
A walking trail entitled “Circuit-NEUNG-SUR-BEAUVRON” is signposted in Neung-sur-Beuvron. The interactive game “Gustave et le mystérieux pendentif” takes visitors through Neung-sur-Beuvron and its surroundings.
