La Fontenelle: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Église Saint-Loup-Saint-Gilles in La Fontenelle was built in the 12th century. Its Grison façade was listed as a historic monument in 1971. The church contains a stone baptismal font from the 16th century, decorated with lion's paws and winged genii.

Culture

The Ferme de la vieille Fontenelle is one of the last remnants of the former village of La Fontenelle. In addition, the church of La Fontenelle is part of the remarkable cultural heritage of the Vendômois region.

Trails

The Circuit de Montotin is an easy, 8.5-kilometre circular route for walks and hikes. The walking time is approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes; the starting point is the Place de l'Église in La Fontenelle. The route passes through the hamlets of Montotin, Saussé, Les Petites Blatières, and Les Reverdières.

The Circuit de Montotin is marked with yellow markings used by the FFRP. Along the route, hikers can see the banks of the Egvonne. The Circuit des Augerais is a hiking trail approximately 6 kilometres long in the municipality of La Fontenelle and takes around two hours.
