Culture
The Église Saint-Gervais-Saint-Protais is located in the Le Bourg district of Jaulnay. The uniformly designed building was constructed in its entirety in the 15th or early 16th century. Northeast of the nave, the church has a tower reinforced with buttresses and topped by an octagonal spire.
The Château du Chillou is also connected with the history of the village: in 1506, it came into the possession of François du Plessis, the great-grandfather of Cardinal Richelieu. The Château du Chillou and its surviving moat ruins were listed as a Monument historique by a decree dated 14 November 1951.
The cultural programme also includes the play “1906 – Une famille dans le tourbillon de l’époque”. It follows the fate of a family in a time of upheaval and was written by Daniel Patte.

Nature
The Lande du bois de la Couarde biodiversity reserve extends across the municipalities of Jaulnay and Marigny-Marmande. The regionally protected heath Erica vagans and the thread-like Cicendia filiformis grow in the Lande du bois de la Couarde and along its tracks.
The Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Nature Park was founded in 1996 and brings together 129 municipalities committed to protecting cultural heritage and promoting local resources. Jaulnay is one of these municipalities.
Events
The Fête de la Mobylette was held for the tenth time in 2026 and was organised by Les Cyclomobeurs. The event included an exhibition of historic two-wheelers and a moped ride on Sunday.

Hiking
The Étang de la Mousselière is an approximately 8-kilometre circular hiking trail in the municipality of Jaulnay in Indre-et-Loire. The average walking time is around two hours.
