Culture and History
The chapel of the Prieuré d'Augustins Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire was founded in 1025 by the feudal landowners. The Château de Velors was built of stone and brick in the 15th century.
The Château de Coulaine is a manor house built around 1470 by Jehan de Garguesalle. It stands on the site of an older and larger fortress, whose foundations were rediscovered. The Château de Razilly was a fief and a fortified castle mentioned since the 12th century.
The Ancien manoir de la Courtinière preserves remnants of 16th-century façades facing the courtyard, featuring original decoration with pilasters and sculpted motifs.
