The village’s churches preserve various traces of history. The Church of Saint-Symphorien-les-Ponceaux was listed as a historic monument by decree of 23 September 1949. The Church of Saint-Aubin has a square bell tower dating from the 12th century. Its choir was built in the 16th century and ends in a flat apse. History
A memorial stele was unveiled at the site of the La Morellerie camp on 14 January 2008. La Morellerie is a place in Avrillé-les-Ponceaux that visitors can explore. The Manoir de la Morellerie was the seat of a former fief.
Three lime kilns stood east of the Church of Saint Gilles de Saint Symphorien in Avrillé-les-Ponceaux. Lime production in the lime kilns of Avrillé-les-Ponceaux ended in 1954. The lime kiln was built in 1907; it is partially dilapidated, and its firing-opening area is covered with thorny vegetation and rubble.
