Berry-Bouy: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Berry-Bouy is particularly well represented by the Chapelle Saint-Aignan: it is the only surviving part of the former parish church of Berry-Bouy. The chapel contains a restored monumental wall painting from the 14th century. Seasonally, it is accessible as a historic site from 1 April to 15 October.

History

Berry-Bouy was created in the 19th century through the merger of the parishes of Berry and Bouy.

Waterways and Paths

The Yèvre is the most important watercourse flowing through Berry-Bouy. A website for Berry-Bouy lists circular hiking routes that can be taken in the municipality.

Gardens and Events

At the Jardins Passion garden event in Berry-Bouy, visitors can find ornamental trees and shrubs, fruit trees, roses, flower bulbs, as well as aromatic and medicinal plants. The event also includes workshops, exhibitions, and demonstrations. In 2025, Jardins Passion celebrated 25 years of tradition.

Cycling and Orientation

Route No. 07 of the Tour de Bourges is a 42.43-kilometre mountain bike route of moderate difficulty. It passes by Rocherioux in Berry-Bouy and reaches the D160 at the Moulin de Berry.

AggloBus route 24 connects Nation with Berry-Bouy/Marmagne. Le Moulin de Berry is a 135 m² independent, ground-floor holiday accommodation unit set up in the outbuilding of a former mill.
