The Église Saint-Maurice stands in the eastern part of Villiers-les-Hauts, secluded on the slope of a hill within the cemetery grounds. Its construction history spans the 12th, 15th and 19th centuries. By decree of 14 September 1988, it has been protected as a historic monument.
