Vignes: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The village of Vignes is home to the parish church of Saint-Pierre. In 1145, the Bishop of Langres transferred the church of Vignes to Moutiers-Saint-Jean Abbey. The church preserves a 13th-century porch containing a polychrome statue of Saint Peter.

History

In 1422, Jehan Davoul received the fief of Vignes as a gift. Also in 1422, the Davout family settled in Vignes and remained there until 1945. Château de Vignes remained in the possession of the family's eldest branch until modern times.

Culture

Vignes is home to a heritage interpretation panel as part of the municipal network of information panels. The Abbaye Saint-Jean-de-Réome and the historic Prieuré de Vausse site are located in the vicinity of Vignes.
