Culture
The Chapelle Saint-Baudel in Pourrain dates from the first half of the 16th century. In Pourrain, the Chapelle Saint Baudel also contains 17th-century paintings on a wood-panelled vaulted ceiling.
Since 2019, the Poussière d'Ocre association has welcomed visitors at the Domaine de l'Ocrerie in Pourrain. There, it organises art exhibitions, performances, conferences, book signings and concerts.
The Artothèque d'Auxerre, a museum, is located in the vicinity of Nantou. Also in the vicinity of Nantou are the Château de Régennes, a château; the Cathédrale Saint-Étienne d'Auxerre, a historical site; and the Abbaye Saint-Julien d'Auxerre, a historical site.
In Pourrain, the Grotte Notre Dame de Lourdes was built by parishioners following a vow made by Abbé Bruni in the event of his return from deportation, and was inaugurated on 8 August 1954.
The Saint Serge Saint Bach church in Pourrain has wooden furnishings from the 18th century. Most of the pieces come from Notre dame de la Cité, a building located near Auxerre Cathedral that was demolished during the French Revolution.
Hiking
Les Sentiers de l'Ocre organises hikes in Pourrain with trained guides, as well as Nordic walking.
The Aux portes de la Puisaye trail begins at Place du Château d'Eau in Pourrain; there is a large car park for vehicles there.
The Boucle de Pourrain starts at 4 Rue de Nantou in Pourrain. On this hike, two kilometres after the start, there is a higher point offering a 360-degree view over the Auxerrois region.
