Culture

The surviving buildings of the Château (ancien) were listed as a historic monument by decree of 23 June 1937. The esplanade of the Château (ancien) and the planted square were classified as a protected site by decree of 12 April 1938.

The former Romanesque church Eglise Romane Saint-Julien (ancienne) was extended during the Gothic period and deconsecrated in the 19th century. Its nave, transept and a two-storey bell tower with window openings have been preserved. Gothic frescoes can be seen on the choir vault.

The Musée International des Parachutistes du Special Air Service has a screening room where a film about the history of the SAS is shown. The museum also offers a self-guided tour in English, German and Dutch, as well as a treasure hunt for children.
