Culture
At Place des Tilleuls stands the Calvaire de la Place des Tilleuls, dating from 1622. It is classified as a historic monument; this protection has been in place since September 20, 1927.
The Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste has an 11th-century bell tower and several chapels, including two that form the transept. Parts of the church date from the 11th and 12th centuries, as well as the 15th and 18th centuries. The village landscape also includes the Lavoir du Haut, one of the two washhouses in Saint-Jean-de-Vaux.
Landscape
The Croix de Saint Jean de Vaux circular trail starts at Place des Tilleuls in the village center. After the washhouse, it continues along a path beside the stream. Around Saint-Jean-de-Vaux, trails run between vineyards, meadows, and forests.
The Balade au cœur de la vallée des Vaux route also leads to the village: it continues to Saint-Denis-de-Vaux and then to Saint-Jean-de-Vaux.
Leisure
The Piscine de la Vallée in Saint-Jean-de-Vaux is an outdoor swimming pool that is open only in summer. Its facilities include a 25 x 8 meter outdoor pool and a children's paddling pool. The pool is supplied with water from a spring in the municipality.
The Burgundy Immersion tasting takes place at 28 Pl. des Tilleuls, 71640 Saint-Jean-de-Vaux. It includes a walk through the vineyards, followed by a guided tasting of five carefully selected wines.
