Culture

The Church of Saint-Sulpice is a Romanesque parish church with a cruciform layout. Its southern chapel contains three epitaphs from the Church of Saint-Pierre de Nevers.

The Château de Meauce visit programme includes discovering the classified natural area of Bec d’Allier and the history of the Allier River. Saincaize-Meauce is also part of the type 2 ZNIEFF area “Vallée de la Loire de Neuvy-sur-Loire à Nevers”.

Circular Route

The “Circuit paysage et patrimoine de Saincaize” circular route is 10 km long and runs along small side roads through the countryside bordering Saincaize. It starts in Saincaize-Meauce and ends in Apremont-sur-Allier. The route leads to Meauce, where the former Church of Saint-Symphorien can be seen.

Events

By the end of August 2024, the Festival des Odyssées du Lys had reached its fifth edition. In 2024, it included a concert by the Duo Lov group, followed by an introduction to traditional Breton dances.

Train Station

Saincaize railway station is located at Rue de la Gare, 58470 Saincaize. It does not have a ticket office.
