Nature and trails
The Sources de l'Ignon are a Natura 2000 site designated as “Forêt de ravin à la source tufeuse de l'Ignon”. The landscape around the Sources de l'Ignon includes deciduous forests, coniferous stands, wetlands, streams and tufa springs.
The Sources de l'Ignon can be reached via the GR2, a difficult-to-access trail marked in red and white, or via the RD971.
Culture
The archaeological and landscape site of the Sources de la Seine is protected as a historic monument. The protection dates are 7 September 1945 and 21 January 2020.
The Eglise Saint-Barthélémy was built from 1785 to 1787. It has a centrally positioned nave with two rectangular side chapels. The nave is vaulted by a ribbed dome with four oval oculi.
The built heritage also includes a complex consisting of a washhouse, well and livestock trough. The complex has a structure largely open at the façade through round-arched arcades and features a rectangular basin made of cut stone.
