Culture and history
The Sainte-Trinité Church is a simple Romanesque stone building with a tiled roof, a single transept arm and a circular apse. Its main construction phases date from the 11th, 12th and 16th centuries.
Only the portal of the west gable and the base of the bell tower remain from the first church, dedicated to the Holy Trinity and dating from the 11th century. The present church replaced the circular eastern apse in the 12th century.
The Visitation Church was built in 1995; a six-metre-high cross stands above its roof. The Château de Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur dates back to the 13th century, while its present form is attributed to Pierre Rigoley. The Ferme de Limprey is a former mill dating from the 17th century.
The Marché de Chevigny takes place every Sunday in the car park of the Ogive.
