Saint-Seine-L'abbaye: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Culture

The church of Saint-Seine-l'Abbaye has been classified and protected as a Monument historique since 1862. The abbey church is built in the Burgundian Gothic style; construction began in the 13th century and was completed in the 14th and 15th centuries.

On its north wall, the abbey church has murals depicting the legend of Saint Seine in 22 panels dating from 1504. Inside, there is also a rood screen from the 15th century.

In front of the church is the Samaritaine spring from the 18th century, also called the Saint-Marc spring, which is considered miraculous. Guided tours of the abbey church can be organised for groups through the Office de Tourisme Forêts, Seine et Suzon.

Renting a holiday apartment in Saint-Seine-l'Abbaye is a travel project in its own right.

The tourist office also offers a digital game for discovering the village.
