Trez-Bellec is a large sandy beach in Telgruc-sur-Mer. Numerous activities are offered at the beach, including sand yachting in particular, and it offers panoramic views across the Bay of Douarnenez.
Nature
Telgruc-sur-Mer is part of the type 1 ZNIEFF “L'Aber en Crozon et côte rocheuse de la pointe des Grottes à Pen ar Vir”. The protected plant species Rumex rupestris is found in Trez Bihan Bay.
Activities
The Sentier du Ménez Caon is an 8.73-kilometre route starting and ending in Telgruc-sur-Mer. It follows the GR 34 past Pointe de Pen ar Vir and along Trez Bihan Beach.
Culture
The Church of Saint-Magloire preserves parts of the building that existed before 1944, including the western structure with its tower and spire, several window openings, the south porch and the monumental arch. This arch dates from the first half of the 17th century.
The Sainte-Julitte Chapel was built towards the end of the 15th century on the lands of the Rosmadec family. It is the only one of the commune's four former chapels to have survived the French Revolution. The chapel ruins were restored by the Eost association from Telgruc with grants received by the commune in 2000.
History
The Saint-Divy fountain complex bears the date 1577. It is a restored gable fountain with a niche that formerly housed a statue of the saint. The complex also includes a sarcophagus dating from the 8th to the 10th century, which was installed at the end of the 19th century and served as a livestock watering trough and wash place.
The Dolmen of Pen Ar Run is a partially preserved Neolithic burial site on the access road to the hamlet of Pen ar Run. It is the only dolmen still standing upright in Telgruc-sur-Mer and one of the few dolmens on the Crozon Peninsula.
The original Moulin de Luzéoc was built around 1835 and continued its declining milling operations until 1914. From June to September, it can be visited on Saturdays and Sundays from 4 to 6 p.m.
Local life
The Telgruc market takes place every Tuesday and Friday morning on Place de l'Église.
