The Croix de Milan route begins in Villosanges and follows a forest path along the Verne-Labouesse body of water through hedgerows and woodland. At the hamlet of Chauvence, it passes the Mission Cross erected in 1924.
Hiking
The Allée des Chênes is an easy, six-kilometre circular hiking trail in Villosanges. Its starting point is in the car park at Place de l’Église in Villossanges. The route follows paths lined with oak trees and offers views of the Massif du Sancy and the Chaîne des Puys.

Alder trees dominate the valley of the Étang de La Vergne-Labouesse; at the end of the pond, a peat bog has formed.

History
The Croix de Saint-Amable in Villossanges is fully protected as a historic monument and was registered on 13 July 1926.
The Verrerie de Roches began operating in 1769 and closed in 1788. From 1630 until the Revolution, the Forêt de Roches served as a hideout for salt smugglers who transported salt towards Bourbonnais.
Near the La Verrerie site, the Gauls used gold flakes found in the quartz of the underlying rock.
