The hiking route at the Arpiat Bridge in Singles is 5.4 km long and designed as a circular route. It runs through the wooded slopes of the Dordogne Valley to the border between Puy-de-Dôme and Corrèze and to the confluence of the Dordogne and Burande rivers. The route is signposted with blue markings.

Another short circular hike is called “Les mines de la guinguette”. It leads across plateaus cut through by the Dordogne and through the wooded valleys of the former coal plateau of the Massif Central.

The event “Dans la peau des chercheurs d’or” offers an afternoon introductory course in gold panning at a hidden gold-bearing site in the upper Dordogne Valley. An enthusiastic guide teaches various gold-panning techniques in the waters of the Burande. Registration for the event is required through the tourist office or online.

Culture

The choir and nave of the Eglise paroissiale Saint-Nazaire appear to have been built at the transition between the 12th and 13th centuries. The Gothic portal in Singles dates from the 14th century.
