Culture
The Église Notre-Dame in Lisseuil is a Romanesque building with a comb bell tower and two bells. The church houses a statue of Notre-Dame dating from the early 13th century, which was listed as a historic monument in 1993. During the pilgrimage in Lisseuil at the beginning of September, the statue of the Virgin Mary is dressed and carried in a procession to the miraculous spring.
Lisseuil is the third stage of the “Circuit découverte des Gorges de la Sioule” discovery trail and is considered a Marian pilgrimage site with a Romanesque church and a miraculous spring.
