Auzelles: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In the centre of the village of Auzelles stands the Église Saint-Blaise. The church was fortified in the 15th century to serve as a refuge during the Hundred Years’ War. Inside, there is a 16th-century fresco depicting the Deposition from the Cross.

Nature

The Cavité d’Auzelles was created from a former lead and silver mine. Today, it serves as a temporary roost for bats, including the lesser horseshoe bat, a rare or threatened species.

Part of the Auzelles Natura 2000 site comprises forests with native tree species, including beech forests and riparian forests, as well as a watercourse.

Hiking

The Croix de Pradier is an 11.5 km circular hiking route in Auzelles.
