Moudeyres has preserved traditional houses with thatched and stone-slab roofs. The traditional thatched roofs of Moudeyres use locally grown rye straw, which is tied into small bundles called cluassou.

The Ferme Perrel in Moudeyres has been protected as a historic monument since 13 December 1977; the designation covers the entire property, including the outbuildings.
The Ecomuseum Ferme des Frères Perrel offers one-hour guided tours presenting the everyday life of the region’s former inhabitants.

Hiking
The Respirando PR 592 route, “La vallée de l'Aubépin,” is 2.5 km long.
The Respirando PR 590 hiking route, “Le plateau du Fraisse,” is 11 km long. It passes through meadows separated by dry-stone walls and offers 360° views of Velay and the Mézenc.
The 20 km PR 591 hike, “Entre monts et vallées,” passes through Moudeyres and Laussonne and by the Étangs des Barthes.
