In Le Brignon, the Voie verte extends to the boundary between Le Brignon and Costaros. The route has an average incline of around 2 percent and leads from an altitude of 650 to 1,070 metres. It follows a former railway line and is suitable for hiking and cycling, including with VTCs and mountain bikes.

The Retrouvance Haute-vallée de la Loire is also connected with Le Brignon. The hike leads from Coubon to Mont Gerbier de Joncs and lasts six days and five nights; its first stage is in Le Brignon. For this Retrouvance, groups of 10 to 12 hikers are accompanied by mountain guides. Logistics staff transport the luggage and handle reception at each stage.

In the area around Le Brignon, visitor trails lead to the Cascade de la Beaume; Le Brignon is one of several starting points. The 27-metre-high Cascade de la Beaume is also located near the village, in the forest of Agizoux.

Culture and History

The Église Saint-Martin du Brignon is a Romanesque church. Its porch has Gothic features due to its late construction in the 14th century. The Église Saint-Martin in Le Brignon was listed in its entirety as a historic monument on 30 October 1987.

In Le Brignon, visitors can visit the Ferme de la seconde chance. It is home to around forty animals, most of which had previously been abandoned.
