History

The oldest part of Château des Gouttes consists of a late-medieval tower-like residential building with a stair tower that projects halfway from the main structure. At the beginning of the 17th century, Château des Gouttes was extended to the west. The park of Château des Gouttes, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, was replaced by an English landscape garden in the 19th century. Château des Gouttes includes a park with its hydraulic system.

Landscape

The grounds of Château des Fougis are surrounded by more than 130 hectares of former pastureland. The grounds include several fishponds as well as footpaths through the woodland.
