The Église Saint-Martin in Besson is a 12th-century church. Its architecture includes a four-bay nave, side aisles, a non-projecting transept, a semicircular apse and semicircular apsidioles. The church is known for its capitals, sculptures, stained-glass windows and listed statues. These include a 15th-century statue of Saint Sebastian and a 17th-century statue of Saint Roch.

PR 3: Circuit des vignes et châteaux is a circular hiking trail in Besson. It is listed as being 16.4 km long, taking four hours and involving an ascent of 151 metres. Hikers can see the Château de Fourchaud along the trail. The route passes through vineyards used to produce Saint-Pourçain wine, which has had a controlled designation of origin since 2009.
