The hike through the Gorges d'Ehujarré begins at the church of Sainte-Engrâce. It is 12 kilometres long, takes 7 hours and 30 minutes, and has 900 metres of elevation gain. The Tour des Gorges de Kakuetta is an 18-kilometre hike with a duration of 7 hours and 1,400 metres of elevation gain. The Tour du Pont d'Enfer is shorter: it begins at the car park of the Gorges de Kakuetta, is 2 kilometres long, and takes about 1 hour to walk.
The guided and narrated tour of La Verna leads through a 660-metre-long artificial horizontal tunnel. From Arrakotchepia in Sainte-Engrâce, La Verna can be reached by shuttle in 30 minutes or on foot in 2 hours.

Nature and Landscape

The mountain pass near Kakuetta between France and Spain was used during the Second World War by people fleeing the occupied territory.
