In the center of Orion is Maison Lacaze, an eco-cultural venue. The building is housed in a former 18th-century farmhouse and was designed as an educational space where visitors can explore environmentally conscious alternatives in the fields of nature, food, natural health, ecological construction, agroecology, green energy, and water and waste management. The Château d’Orion was built in the 17th century. Today, it is a guesthouse as well as a center for cultural activities and encounters promoting Franco-German friendship. Pilgrimage
The Voie de Vézelay runs between Orthez and Sauveterre-de-Béarn. Maison Ménan in Orion offers pilgrims on the way to Compostela accommodation for one stage of their journey: three rooms are available upstairs, and bed and household linen are also provided.
