Culture
Today's Château d'Arcangues was rebuilt in 1900 according to the plans of its predecessor and has been open to the public since 2005. Near the chapel, the Croix de Malte was erected in 1897 in memory of the soldiers who fought in the Battle of the Nive in 1813; it was restored in 2023. The characteristic “bleu d'Arcangues” can still be seen on the timber-framed beams and shutters of the village houses.
Nature and Trails
The Golf d'Arcangues course is hilly and surrounds the village, church and Château d'Arcangues. Its grounds include a 67-hectare green reserve and are considered a biodiversity refuge. The Xurrumilatx (Chouroumillas) pond is a two-hectare wetland in the northwest of Arcangues. Arcangues' nature reserves are open to the public only twice a year during the World Wetlands Days.
The Boucle Oihana offers views of the mountains along the section beside the golf course.

The beaches Plage d'Ilbarritz, Côte des Basques, Grande Plage and Plage du Miramar are located in the surroundings of Arcangues.
The Fort Château Vieux de Bayonne, the Citadelle de Bayonne as a fort, the historic site Abbaye de Saint-Bernard-lès-Bayonne and the Rocher de la Vierge monument are also located nearby.
